Hello my name is Rebecca and by the time I was 22 I had 3 beautiful girls. Due to my health at the time the Doctor had warned me against ever having another child saying it could exacerbate serious health issues. That same year I had an adverse reaction to Essure, a metal based birth control that was new. After a long hard fight with doctors to remove the Essure they deemed they only way was to surgically remove a portion of my tubes, that the Essure had scarred and couldn’t be taken out in the normal way. After a few years my health had gotten better and my husband and I wanted to try for 1 last child. We went to the doctor to consult with them about reattaching my tubes only to find out that when the removed the Essure they had removed them COMPLETELY with nothing left to attempt to reverse what had been done. 9 years have passed and after much research we learned about IVF, and it bringing our dream back to a possible reality.
